As part of the "Battery Workshop Series", the partners of the Interreg project "PE:Region-Platform" are inviting to an attendance seminar with the topic: "Smart Power - Battery Technologies and the way to Sustainable Electrification" in Itzehoe.

Batteries are important in developing the energy systems of the future. They offer storage possibilities for renewable energy sources within electro mobility and Smart Grids. Energy density as well as charging and durability characteristics of the batteries are important. However, large-scale application of batteries depends on improvements in technical as well as cost/production related issues:

  • Battery cells
Materials and methods for production of stabel battery cells with high energy density
  • Battery packages
Efficient, reliable and cost competitive battery packages which are fit for customer purposes
  • Battery applications
Integration of battery packages within electro mobility and Smart Grid applications, and efficient charging

Here you can register for the event. Due to the international relevance of the project, the contributions will be presented in English.
