As part of the Belgian Royal Economic Mission to the United Kingdom, three meetings will be organized with Belgian companies: Knauf, Indaver & AGC Glass. This Meet-the-Buyer-Event offers interesting opportunities for your company to get in touch with the leading enterprises in a variety of business sectors and will give you the chance to have an individual one-to-one meeting with key decision-makers.

Knauf

Knauf is a manufacturer of innovative finishing and insulating materials, systems and tools that are versatile for use in new construction, renovation and refurbishment. With more than 250 production sites around the world, Knauf offers complete solutions for walls, ceilings and floors and places great emphasis on quality. Founded in Germany in 1932, Knauf is a family-owned company that started with gypsum as a raw material and has grown and established itself successfully in its industry over the years.

Indaver

The Indaver Group offers its customers integrated services and high-quality total waste management solutions in several European countries. Indaver's core competence lies in the management of intelligent waste management systems and the operation of complex processing plants for industrial and hazardous waste, household waste, commercial waste and biomass with a focus on sustainability.

What are they looking for?

  • Innovative technologies in the field of recycling and sustainability
  • Technologies for dangerous waste (e.g. metal speciation, chemical plastics, phosphorus recovery)
  • Technologies for harmless waste (e.g. for CO2 emissions)

AGC Glass

AGC Glass Europe is part of AGC (Japan), a leading global manufacturer of flat glass. The AGC Group includes 200 companies in over 30 countries. The four core business areas are: Glass, Electronics, Chemicals and Ceramics. AGC Glass Europe produces, processes and distributes flat glass for e.g. the construction industry, the automotive industry and various other sectors such as transportation, solar energy and high-tech applications. In the Belgian "Technovation" center, researchers work on improving processes and inventing new products for future flat glass production and the glass products of tomorrow.

  • Innovative solutions for recycling, hydrogen technology, carbon technology and industrial decarbonization in general
