More than 100 new contacts for the Renewable Energies Network Schleswig-Holstein
WindEnergy Hamburg has come to a close with highly positive results, with some 35,000 trade visitors from 48 nations coming to Hamburg. The percentage of visitors from abroad rose to about 40%, and the percentage of international exhibitors to 44%. WindEnergy Hamburg was held for four days, from 27 to 30 September, with some 1,400 exhibitors from 34 nations presenting their innovative products and services for the onshore and offshore sector in 9 exhibition halls. For the first time, the conference WindEurope Summit was held in parallel, with the thematic focus “Making transition work”.
Windcomm and its follow-up project Renewable Energy Network Schleswig-Holstein (EE.SH) was represented at the joint Schleswig-Holstein stand of 18 companies and institutions from the northernmost German state. The stand and two workshops “Wind energy and grid integration – best practice from Northern Germany” and “The Canadian Wind Energy Market” which EE.SH had organized together with the Hamburg Renewable Energies Cluster, attracted several hundred visitors.
Next year’s wind energy trade fair HUSUM Wind (12. – 15. September 2017) at Husum, Schleswig-Holstein, focusses on the European market.
